It began over a conversation at a restaurant, between two friends and business partners Pedro Rodrigues and Ricardo Cruz. The idea matured for about a year before it became a spirit.
Born in the Oeste region of Portugal, an Atlantic region that forms part of the UNESCO-recognised Oeste Geopark a territory that gives us legitimacy and a commitment to environmental and cultural preservation.
The name comes from the figure who knows the sea and commands it. That is what this brand is about: strength, responsibility and Atlantic Portuguese spirit.
